South Jefferson Baptist Church is a vibrant, growing, family-oriented church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

The church is driven by a simple, scriptural, three-fold philosophy of ministry:

• Exalt the Savior

  - John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me."

• Edify the Saints

  - Ephesians 4:12 "For the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"

• Evangelize the Sinner

  - I Tim. 1:15 "This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."
